Makeup tips: The tools you need for easy application

To a lot of women, especially beginners in make-up application, wearing make-up seems like something that is a daunting task, but with the proper tools, and just a few times of practice, women could have the perfect face of make-up and give any model out there a run for their money, all without the help of a make-up artist.

Some tools which make make-up application easier are:

1) Your fingers-this is free, and foundation is able to glide on and set more quickly because the heat from your fingers allows it to do this. Blending takes half the time.

2) If fingers do not do the trick, a good makeup sponge should. It does not make much difference if the sponge is wet or dry. For cream-to-powder formulas, a dry sponge works best. For liquid foundation, wet sponges allow the foundation to last longer on your skin.

3)Foundation brush-foundation brushes generally offer a quicker and more blend-able alternative to sponges, and the foundation does not absorb into the brush like it does with a sponge. However, foundation brushes are more expensive than sponges.

4) Face Powder brush-powder, whether loose or pressed, is ideal for setting your foundation and lessening any noticeable oily spots. With this brush, powder glides on smoothly and quickly.

5) Powder sponge-Sponges generally offer better blend-ability than brushes, and they also allow oil to form a lot slower, thereby reducing touch-ups. It is easier to add powder to the sponge, even if it takes a little longer.

6) Lip brush-Using a brush when applying lipstick gives you a much easier time. It is so easy to control the lipstick when all you have to do is simply brush it into place. Coverage is a million time more precise and neat. It also helps with giving your lips a better-looking pout. Use a regular brush, or the new retractable lip brush that recently premiered, like the brush from Avon.

7) Eyeshadow brush-Eyeshadow brushes allow you not to over apply shadow, since the bristles naturally picky up only as much as they could hold.

8) Sponge-tip applicators-I must pledge my loyalties for these. Generally used in makeup before the late 1990s, sponge tip applicators give better options for blending in different shades of eyeshadow, and they do not have to be washed periodically as do brushes.

9) Eyeliner brush-Generally, an eyeliner brush is used when buying non-stick eyeliner. However, this brush is less harsh of your eyes as you apply liner, since it does not poke your eyes as it apply it, thereby reducing
