The information super high way has brought about many changes in the world as we know about it. One of these great changes is the age of the blog. Blogging or web logging has taken the world by surprise. It has created a new medium for writers everywhere. It has also allowed for probloggers to emerge, people who make their living with blogging.

Blogging as a career is something that is a relatively new concept. It has allowed a whole group of writers to sport the title problogger, but beyond that they are making a great living from their career. Some are making into the six figure incomes from their blogs and expanding their reach out ever more.

What is a Blog?
Because not everyone knows, we will start at the beginning. A blog or web log started out as a place where you can keep on online diary. Others saw it as an easy way to create web pages where they could write about a specific topic. These topic blogs covered information that the blogger new a lot about. Some went with hobbies they had or information they had gathered in a specific field of study. Since that time blogs have been created on almost every topic imaginable to mankind. In addition to this companies have started blogging to provide their customers with information that they can use.

How Does One Make Money from a Blog?
Probloggers usually make money using ads. This might be Google Adsense, AdBrite, or specific ads that advertisers have purchased. These work wonderful for generating a good income, especially once traffic numbers are high. Over time, one can generate more and more money using their blog and selling ad space. If done right the reader doesn't mind the blogs and is looking for the information provided by the blog.

Can Anyone Blog?
Yep. All you need is a decent grasp of the language you are writing your blog in, and time on your hands. Anyone can blog, and they can blog about anything. The real question comes down to, can anyone make money blogging.

Well, Can Anyone Make Money Blogging?
Yep. Anyone can make money blogging. However, it takes dedication, time, and effort in order to do so. You can't quit your day job, start a blog, and expect to make $250,000 next year. It is much like a small or home business (without the capital). It takes a lot of time at first and over time you find out what works for you and how you personally can make money. If you stick with the first year or two (which may be rather slow) over time you can replace your income, and quit your job. Oh, and you can walk around calling yourself a Problogger making people go, "What?"

Blogging is one of those new and amazing careers. Anyone can do it, with work, time, and effort. Of course, beyond anyone being able to do it. Anyone can also work their way into a full time career with a nice stream of income coming in. But it does take work. It isn't a get rich quick type of deal. So, if you have the desire, the dream, the time, the effort, and you are willing to work hard to make it happen blogging just might be the career for you.
