Flirting to Keep Romance Alive

1. Be spontaneous. Don't wait for date night to spark a little romance. Flirtatious comments and glances are an unexpected surprise at the grocery store, while folding laundry, or when leaving for work in the morning.

2. Make eye contact. A shared glance with a stranger has the excitement of the unknown, but a lingering look from a significant other has depth. A long look across the room contains the memories of passionate moments, hard times overcome, and shared experiences. Eye contact while she's speaking shows that you still find her interesting and exciting.

3. Keep it light. Flirting with a woman should be light-hearted. It isn't the time to discuss work, the kids, or family problems. Stay away from past conflicts. Flirting is not the same as teasing, particulary about touchy subjects like a past slight or argument.

4. Compliment her appearance. You still find her attractive, but she may wonder. Tell her she is beautiful. Tell her if you like seeing her in certain outfits or if her new hairstyle is sexy.

5. Remember the beginning. You share a history, remind her of the excitement of your early days when your romance was new. Reminisce in a lighthearted way, reminding her that she is still the woman you fell in love with.

Flirting with a woman can help find a new romance or keep a long-term relationship alive. Life can be difficult at times, but flirting is a way to keep a little fun in your life. Don't take yourself too seriously, and you may find that flirting is actually a lot of fun.
