Travel destinations: Singapore

If you simply adore shopping, food, rich history and nice weather, think no further and head your way down to this sunny little island called Singapore - at the southern end of the Malay Peninsula - where its inhabitants generally have three top national hobbies - eating, shopping and enjoying life to the fullest. There are eateries sprouted throughout the island, and with so many varieties of foods that would be more than spoilt for choice. No matter where you go, whatever time of the day, you will be able to spot Singaporeans eating.

When you are in Singapore, you could always head down to the hotel concierge to inquire about the available tours or/and you could start your adventure all on your own. It can get confusing at times as to which stops to alight at.

When taking the MRT you can stop at Cityhall and walk your way up or down to the shopping centers, restaurants and food courts. If you are here for an authentic Singapore food experience, you could always try the food courts and hawker centers, which sell local as well as other nationalities' delights, located at the Cityhall MRT stop. Food courts are basically hawker centers with air conditioning and can be found at almost all shopping centers. They are usually located at the basement or the top floor of the shopping centers. One recommendation for a good variety of food from a food court would be
