Want to see Donald Trump fire a celebrity and see a team of male celebrities compete with a team of female celebrities in a quasi-corporate setting? If yes, then "Celebrity Apprentice" is a thursday night prime time television show to watch. Celebrity apprentice is a corporate survivor series in which the two teams of celebrities compete on a weekly basis to create a successful business project thought up and initiated by none other than Donald Trump and his Business affiliates.

Celebrity Apprentice is like a project management survival soap opera in which both teams avoid having one of their members fired by Donald Trump. His "eyes and ears" are his daughter Ivanka Trump and son, Donald Trump Jr. who regularly check up on the teams as they work on their projects.

The original cast of celebrity apprentice included Gene Simmons, Piers Morgan, Lennox Lewis, Steven Baldwin, Tito Ortiz, Trace Adkins, and Vinnie Pastore on the guys team. The Women's team consists of a former apprentice winner Omarosa, Jennie Finch, Marilu Henner, Carol Alt, Nadia Comaneci, Nely Galan and Tiffany Falon.

In the first several episodes of Celebrity Apprentice, the men's team hit the ground running with win after win with their first loss being Gene Simmons being fired and then an accepted resignation by Vinnie Pastore. The Men's team consistently demonstrated team work, creativity, effective project implementation, and celebrity innovation while the Women's team struggled to generate superior revenue to the men, capitalize on celebrity status, and full utilize each team member's skill. The Women's team quickly lost a playmate, and two gold medal athletes.

The first project consisted of the two teams competed on was selling hot dogs in New York City. Donald Trump's primary advice to both teams was pick a good location and the Men picked a better location, and harnessed the financial leverage of some outside connections to yield a tidy sum along with actively engaging passer's by willing to pay for very expensive hot dogs to take photos and talk with the celebrities. Other projects included an advertising campaign for the recycling of "Crocs" footwear, the production of an animal friendly television commercial, and a creative window display of a designer mattress.

Celebrity Apprentice aired on prime time NBC network television at 9pm eastern and 8 Pm central standard time and combined the same board room features and competitive themes as the previous apprentice series' did but with a celebrity
