I feel that Pete Rose should be teated, just like the 8 players from the White Sox back in 1919. Those Players were never inducted into Baseball Hall of Fame. They were banned from baseball, all 8 players were great and put up great numbers in their careers. I feel that Pete Rose fixed his games that he betted on. For 15 years Pete Rose denied to betting on the Reds. I do feel that Bud Selig lied to Pete Rose. Bud made Pete to tell the truth for what he did so that Pete can be reinstated back into baseball. Pete told the truth about the gambling he did, then Bud changed his mind about reinstating Pete Rose. I feel that was wrong. I have always been taught to keep your "yes" yes, and your "No" No. Bud Selig did not do that.
He made Pete look like an idiot. I feel that Pete deserved for what he got. Pete was one of the greatest hitters in the game. Pete was closest one to get Joe DiMaggio's record of hits in a game, Pete finished with 44 hit game streak that was back in 1978. Pete rose collected 100 hits in his 23 year career. He still holds some of baseball's records to this date. If he didn't get banned from baseball, he would have easily made the Hall of Fame. In baseball's eyes those numbers don't exist, its like Pete Rose never played. Before he was banned from Baseball his record has a manager was 412-373. Its to bad we have guys like Pete Rose, and * members from 1919 White Sox that has to make baseball look bad. I feel that Major league Baseball, need to enforce more rules about cleaning up baseball. Now baseball is having to deal with drugs in baseball, I feel if the player is tested positive for any kind of drugs, they should be banned to. I feel baseball should take all the records that they broken erased them, and treat them like they never played the game of baseball again. These guys needs to be role models for young players who looks up to these guys. Baseball needs to take a long look for what is happening in the club houses. It is a shame for what Pete rose did, I loved watching him play. Watching him play, you knew he loved to play the game of baseball. Like people say the money is the root of all evil. Pete's evilness was gambling.
