had any major success.

So what exactly has persuaded the boys to come out of semi retirement? The music business is not the same as it was 15 years ago. These days most people only get one song, if it fails your dropped. Back when the band first formed they were two albums in before they scored their first hit. So could it all be about the money, or is it more about nostalgia? I suppose nobody can tell us that, well except for Jordan, Joe, Jon, Danny and Donnie. And is it really all worth it?

The immense press attention, the inevitable long hours they'll have to put in - I mean they're not as young as they used to be, and thats another point, will they still be able to put on the huge lavish shows they used to? And can they still call themselves New Kids? I suppose old pros, or old timers would be nearer the mark.

New kids official website www.nkotb.com has recently become active again, supporting the rumor that the boys are about to come back. A previously unreleased song playing over a video of the boys back in the good old days is on there. The video ends with one question - 'are you ready?'

When I read this I have to admit I got a little bit excited, spent days singing a New Kids medley to myself, chatting about the good old days with my friends. Here in the UK we've not seen a lot of the band members over the years, except for Donnie. I cant wait to see how they look, if they still have the dance routines in them, if Jordan Knight can still make me feel like a giddy schoolgirl when I see him perform.

So whether the boys have still got the right stuff remains to be seen, but I for one cant wait to find out.
