Can you really earn $50 with Reviewstream.com

Reviewstream.com is a poorly set up site for reviews. There you can review anything. And when they say anything they really mean anything from your new gadget, to the restaurant you ate at last night, to the new shampoo, to your boss and your spouse. It can all be reviewed at Review Stream. Each review is paid for, but can you really earn $50 with Reviewstream.com?

How a Review is Done.
Review Stream has chosen not to have a log in system. This means you have no account, no account records, no home page or profile page, or anything like that. Instead you enter your e-mail address and they use that to track your earnings. You have to use the one connected to your PayPal account, or you won't get paid once you finally do reach payout (which is really $50). You then type your review (or copy and paste it) into a text box, include a title and the item you are reviewing and hit submit. From there on you are supposed to get an e-mail that lets you know it was received. In two or three days you are supposed to get a second e-mail with the information about it being published. This tells you what item, place, or person you reviewed and then how much they paid for the review. Then it usually says that you could do better by being more specific. This seems to be a general e-mail sent out every time, even when you were paid the max amount for the review.

The e-mail System.
Their e-mail system seems to mess up often and stop receiving their e-mails. They say that this is your servers fault, but that doesn't make much sense. So, you could be published and not even know it (I was). Also, if you forget what e-mail you used and start fresh with a new one you can never combine your accounts and you are left with a little money here and a little money there.

The Money.
Currently their review rate is $2, but two months ago it was $1.50 so this does change. However, that doesn't mean you are going to get $2 (or even $1.50) for your review. They accept some at the regular rate, but others they pay for by the bulk rate. The bulk rate is one fifth of the regular rate, currently 40 cents. The bulk rate is what they pay out most often, but determining which items get what rate isn't easy.

The Math.
If all of your reviews were paid for using the bulk rate you would currently need 125 reviews. They aren't super long reviews, but seem to be around the 300 word mark. They don't ever tell you, but if you write a review that is too short their system doesn't let it be submitted and will send you back. A three hundred word review means that it takes some time in order to write it. Not all of your reviews will be paid for using the bulk rate, but it is hard to prepare for the things that will be paid for that way verses the ones that won't.

The Facts.
With a lot of hard work, Review Stream can make you a lot of money. But it takes a lot of time and energy. You have almost unlimited things to review in your house and even the products you try each month will help supply you with lots of review materials, however writing some reviews isn't easy and that can make it take longer. Your $50 worth of earnings will be well earned and will take some time.

Review Stream is a way you can earn money. It takes time, effort, and hard work. Their system isn't the greatest and rather a pain, but they do pay out once you have reached that $50. If you are one that enjoys writing reviews then this might be the place for you. Remember to always use the same e-mail and keep track of the reviews you have done. Record how much you have made when you do get an e-mail and keep an eye on the reviews that are yours that they have published. You can do well doing this if you so desire.
