Mary Magdalene and Jesus were NOT married to one another. The Lord Jesus Christ did not marry any one and nowhere in the Bible is it indicated, suggested or stated that He married any one.
The relationship that Jesus and Mary Magdalene had was one of Savior and follower. The Lord Jesus did not accuse her and by his statement to those who would, He kept her from being stoned which was a common practice during those days. After that time, Mary Magdalene became a devoted follower of the Lord Jesus and was one of the few who understood about His having to go to the cross in order to redeem us out from under the law and take us out of Satan's kingdom of darkness into the Lord's kingdom of light and so that His church could be established.
Because her heart and mind were open to His speaking, she understood, at least in part, what the Lord Jesus was trying to explain to his disciples, the fact that He had to go to the cross and die but that He would not leave them alone. He would send the Comforter to them which was the Holy Spirit, but He had to physically leave before the Holy Spirit could come.
But, with them, it was as if He were playing beautiful music to a bunch of stupid cows. They didn't want to lose the Lord's physical presence, so they were like many of us are even today. They took the ostrich approach. If I ignore it, it will go away. However, Mary Magdalene understood that it would not go away, so she planned for the Lord Jesus' burial by anointing him with a costly oil which was a practice of the day when preparing one for burial. But, she did so prior to his death because of her great love for the Lord.
Oh, that all men and women had such a great love for the Lord today and all during history, but alas, this is not the case. Every Christian should love the Lord so much that he or she would give all the he or she has to the Lord, to consecrate every thing to the One who gave everything for us.
No, Mary Magdalene and Jesus were never married. The Lord Jesus never married anyone, but He will come back for His Bride as stated in Revelation. His Bride will be the builded Church which will be made up of all Christians through out all the centuries since His death and resurrection. What a picture!

I'm really finding it so very funny how much publicity the catholic church has generated for the Da Vinci Code movie free
Would it really be a problem if Jesus had been married and fathered children? Why do people find this claim so shocking?
I would think that if this were so. That it would be in the Bible telling us so. If we believe that the scriptures are written
The simple answer to this question is no. Jesus was not married to Mary Magdalene or anyone else. One problem with this idea
