COMMENCE WITH A WISH

If I had one wish, I wouldn't ask for a million,
Dollars that is, fame and fortune doesn't last,
I wouldn't even wish for looks, they too fade away,
This is what I want, so pay close attention,
Get real close, and pay attention and hang on my every word.

If I had one wish, I'd wish to take part in a huge banquet,
Equipped with my favorite snacks, fav' dishes and meals,
Mhmmm, I like the sound of that,
You would too, if you had 24 hrs to live,
That's what I'd do on the final day,
On the final hour,
Of my life.

One wish to consume as many calories as I'd like,
And for once, never thinking of the baby fat,
I'd eat cakes, ice-cream,
Peanut Butter and Cheddar,
Cheddar you may ask?
Yes, Cheddar,
I need to pack on the pounds while I still have breath,
Don't judge me,
Learn from me,
How to be truly set free.

Life is fletting,
Relationships can cause unrest,
But on that last day, I want to be caught with no regrets,
No remorse,
No cries, and no wheps,
As a wise tv icon once said, Serenity now,
What sweet serenity does 24 hrs bring.

You are either with me, or against me,
Friend or foe,
My aid and crutch, or we have nothing to discuss,
Leave me alone to the biggest banquet of all-time,
You do so, I'll save a place for you.
I'll remember you in the sweet bye and bye,
I love you more than words can say,
That's why I won't run up your bill,
This banquet's on me.

Leave me to my own devices,
Let me set the table,
Organize the utensils,
And save a place for you.
