Well, being a single mother of 4. 4 Boys that is I have seen a lot and also learned a lot my eldest child began puberty at the age of 11 the dreams, waking up wet. What separated him from many others is me being a friend and a Mom and not a Warden in a correctional facility lol... Our lines of communication are very open and this enables my kids to use that line without building walls... Yes my son turned Eleven 2 months ago and walked into my room one Sunday night and said mom I'm on my way to becoming a young Man with a grin so wide and said hey i got hair down their, would you like to look... WOW Yes he did... which did not surprise me because he has always been open with me. and i could tell from the signs. The smell is the body odor well it gets stronger the more they seem to come into their self with sports or any activity causing them to sweat (If you pay that any attention) The no longer wanting to be seen nude running, hiding. and of course if they got a sibling they might have dressed in the same room or still bathed together that quickly comes to a end and fast, moody, low energy for some...Thats puberty...........Thats my experience with my own just to think I went through this 30 years ago watching my brother go through puberty, I give a lot of credit to that. without it I might not have a clue. I do no that it prepared for my kids and establishing an open relationship with my kids so that they can come to me when there troubled, in need, sick, scared even heart. From a mother to all open up a line of communication that is the most important thing when it comes to kids whether its puberty or to a long list of other things that is thee make or break. You can save a lot of time and trouble if you have communication.. but i am truly happy and blessed that they are as open as they are it was quite funny I must say after all my little lad was bursting with joy and as happy as happy can be. Gosh! I don't remember being that happy when i got breast or my . ladies o.k o.k well what we go through is pure pain their is just no comparison so men don't try..lol...the way I look at it is 2 ways it can be a curse for some and a blessing for many.
