destroy the boy, without success. He tempted the Man with what he knew men wanted, freedom, wealth, women, and finally when Jesus knew what was to come, Lucifer offered life over death. Jesus was tempted however briefly, but held fast to his Father's wishes.

It was Lucifer who whispered in Judas' ear. It was Lucifer who wandered the crowd whispering in their ears. It was Lucifer who told the Rabbi's the evils of Jesus, King of the Jews. Lucifer playing his role without even realizing it was a role God needed him to play. Lucifer was even there at the torturing of Jesus, happily whispering in the ears of the guards. I remember the agony and the determination. I wept for Him that day.

There was only one Angel at the end. Lucifer amongst the crowd, reveling in their sorrow and pity. He believed the hypocrisy alone showed their true nature. Man was a lowly cast and should be ruled with heavy hand. When Jesus died Lucifer laughed, I think this was the moment God decided to call his Angels to him.

We were all there. Angels and Archangels in the sight of God, it was so warm. God was silent, but we felt his gaze, like a friendly hand on your shoulder, comforting and true. Finally when the time was right, as He only knows, He spoke to us with a gentle loving voice.

You are my first, my loving army, and my children of grace. I love you. All that you see around you, you helped me create. I tried to do for you as I have done for my children, but your doubts and your fears plague me.'
I knew what was going to happen, as I believe most did. The difference between man and Angels was evident. We were created with a purpose; man was created to be. Our purpose ended with the death of Jesus; God would now touch all men.

I bestowed upon each of you power to create and destroy, I gave each over you a piece of me to use in my plan. Even now I see in some of you a doubt and yes hate in me. I understand for I gave you the capacity for those feelings. Your time of servitude has ended; your time here has ended. Man must be, and will make decisions with me or without me. I love all of you and I can not hurt any of you.'

Lucifer spoke, and so what do you do to us. We were first, we have your grace, and we have loved you since time began and this is your repayment! I know your children better than any angel, better than you Master. These creatures are contemptible, they spit in your face, and they do not love you unless they need to for gain. You choose them over us? You sicken me. I will
