Critique: The Libertarian free trade argument

As events after the completion of the Uruguay round of trade negotiations have shown in the MTNs in Seattle and Cancun, developing countries are not without leverage in trade negotiations. This leverage must be used well to advance the issues that are of interest to their integration into the global economy to ensure a freer and fairer trade for all participants of the international trading system.
