In the Middle
I look at life, I can't decide
Whoever's right or wrong
Who is preaching to the choir?
Who taught us all a song?
Each person has acquaintances
Family, friends, and foes
Each side has happiness
Loves, fears, and woes
What let's us decide
Who holds the perfect case?
Everyone holds truth
Has a spirit, has a face
Good and evil
You will find
Can never truly
Be defined
We live in the middle
Sitting on a wedge
The only perfect grass
Is in the middle of the hedge

Or out
Somewhere between liked
And tolerated
Walking the line
