the vitamins better.
GINGER
Drink some ginger ale or have a cup of hot ginger tea before bedtime. Ginger, in moderation, is great for handling nausea.
PROTEIN
You need the protein in your daily diet and not only that but protein is great at keeping your blood sugar at a normal level. If you think you will not be able to get any food down then just have a piece of toast with peanut butter on it or even just eat a small scoop of peanut butter. If you do not like peanut butter then try Nutella, which is a hazelnut spread.
MOTION SICKNESS BANDS
Sea Bands motion sickness bands are great for handling nausea. They are bands that are worn on the wrist, putting pressure where it is needed most for motion sickness. Since they have no side affects, they will not harm your unborn baby.
DRINK FLUIDS
Drinking plenty of fluids will help your body eliminate nausea as well. Avoid sodas and coffee and focus more on water or juice. Ice water helped me when I was pregnant with my children. Surprisingly milk helps as well. If you do not like the taste of white milk, then try chocolate or strawberry.
GET PLENTY OF REST
Make sure you are getting a sufficient amount of rest at night and try to take a nap during the day, if possible. When wake up, take your time getting out of bed.
BRUSH YOUR TEETH
Brush your teeth often and after every meal. This will get rid of the taste from previous meals which are prone to making your feel ill.
DON'T WORRY IT WONT LAST
Nausea occurs most in the first trimester of pregnancy. This is when the baby is developing the most. It usually subsides for most women around twelve week's gestation. Some women are lucky enough to not even get sick. Just remember that although you may feel like the world is ending and the only thing you can keep down is a cracker, you are doing the most wonderful thing a woman can do and that is carrying a baby.
