Roses are a beautiful and versatile flower, and they come in many vivid, and pastel colorings. The petals of a rose are used in the composition of essential oils, and precious rose Otto is used to flavor Turkish delight. Rose petals look pretty scattered onto the dinner table when you have guests for dinner, and it makes a lovely romantic gesture to throw them onto the bed when you have your lover coming around. The red rose is the classic symbol of love, and romance, and to give a single long stemmed red rose is the ultimate form of expressing deep love. -




The magnificent colors of the rose each have their own representation, and on this Valentines day I'm sure we all know what the red rose stands for, and this is why it is the most bought flower on this special occasion on February 14th. St. Valentines day. - Florists of the wold rejoice!





~ The Red rose: ~

The classic red rose stands for romance, and love. The long stemmed red rose is elegant, and romantic, and to give your lover one dozen red roses is a extreme, grand gesture of love. Red roses were used in early marriage ceremonies, to signify the bond of fertility and love. The red rose represents deep feelings, and by the giving of the red rose, it is as good as saying 'I love you'. -





~ The Pink rose: ~

The pink rose is a classic 'Thank you rose'. It is used to show thanks, admiration and happiness. If you receive a mixed bunch of pink and yellow, it indicates friendship. But if the pink is mixed with red, this can be taken as a sign of romance. Just as the red rose stands for deep love, the watered coloring of pink stands for lesser love, verging on friendship. So the pink rose would be an ideal gift to give on the start of a relationship. -




~ The Lavender rose: ~
A lavender rose represents love at first sight. It represents elegance, enchantment, fantasy, and dignity. This rare and beautiful rose is truly an elegant bloom, and would be given to someone, who has swept you off your feet emotionally, someone you wish to know a lot better. To give a lavender bouquet to someone is saying you are beautiful, and I put you on a pedestal. -

The orange rose represents passion, and desire. The orange color is fiery, and translates its feelings through its vivid color. It denotes passion, a strong, burning flame. It is also seen as representing enthusiasm, fascination, and energy. It is also starting to be
