What if my purpose, as a human being, or being of any type for that matter, is nothing more fantastic than to experience all that I am?
I think that when one begins to examine why they are here then the subject of what they conceive of as a God or Creator must also be examined, for the two are married.
For me, I see the Creator as to like a brilliant many faceted diamond. Each face is unique but special. Each face is but a side of the whole.
Where people get into trouble is when they begin to consider that the only side of the diamond that is "real" is theirs. They forget that it takes all of it to make the whole. Maybe somebody's facet is a bit flawed or cracked, imperfect. So be it. It is perfect the way that it is. It cannot be otherwise for there is nothing that is unacceptable in the body of the whole.
Standing before a mirror, the Creator, like a beautiful child examining her image, suddenly decided to become all that she could be, all at once. Each of us is experiencing life through her and for her to help bring about that realization. We are each of us a single cell within her body and we are answering the call to experience all that we may, in all manners. We are mothers, children, fathers, brothers and sisters. We are white, black, Hispanic, Asian and more. We are free, slaves, dying, or dead. We are rich, poor, and any number of in-between states of being. We are happy, sad, depressed and gay. We have been the warriors, the peace makers, the trouble makers and the shakers and movers. We have been the drunks, the whores, the leaders, and the followers. We are all of that and more, because in the body of the Creator we are not ever less than.
It will take each of us many lifetimes to become all that we are. For myself, in this single lifetime, it has taken all of that just to come to grips with that realization. I may have been born "knowing" that information, but it has taken me the majority of this lifetime to put it all into perspective.
