Teenage sexual trends in this day in age are disturbing to say the very least, most teens have a tendency to have numerous sexual partners. This is quite dangerous in every aspect, from teenage pregnancy to the amount of sexually transmitted diseases that are currently going around in given area.

With blossoming sex drives and teenagers living in the instant gratification period of their lives, can we expect any thing less of them in every aspect including their sexuality? Teenagers are very competitive in everything as is the nature of high school life, including sports and sexuality so multiple partners seems to be just another aspect of this.

Yes, teenagers have always been promiscuous in high school, as history shows but each year it seems to get worse. In the 1960s as well as the early 1970s, girls had to leave high school if they got pregnant. In the 1980s and 1990s there were more cases of teen pregnancy but the girls were very visible often staying in school until they gave birth.

As we, all know there have always been sexually active teens in school, but the trend now is multiple partners. I am a parent of two teenage sons and a young adult daughter. I have watched the trends with horror and it is getting worst every year.

Currently teenagers seem to have what is known as an FB I will allow you to figure out what those initials are. Yes, they may have a steady boyfriend or girlfriend that they sleep with, but there is an FB in the wings for most of these teenagers.

Around town, a few girls will just allow the boys to have their way, one after another. While many adults myself included will be horrified that their child was part of this train, we cannot lock our teenagers in a room to prevent this behavior, not can we always make sure they are protected sexually from the multitude of sexually transmitted diseases.

I think these teenagers are picking up their sexual cues from their parents who have alternative lifestyles and those same teenagers are practicing these new sexual techniques. You just did not hear about such sexual life styles in generations past.

Oh sure perhaps there were a few girls who lay with everyone under the sun, but this is male and female and on a regular basis. The teenagers are headless of any dangers of sexually transmitted diseases, and a teen pregnancy is a desired thing.

The girl in a train can willingly lay with many boys in a night and if she does not like one of the boys, she can claim sexual assault on all of the boys included. Therefore, it is not just diseases and pregnancy you need to be concerned about for your teenagers, it is also the threat of sexual assault charges.
