Clever ways to say "I love you"

Finding a note that says I Love You, in your lunch bag, is a wonderful way to brighten your day. These little "love notes" are a perfect pick me up, when you've had a bad morning at work.

It is my opinion that you can never say "I Love You" too much. However, saying it in a wild and crazy sort of way tends to create a longer, lasting memory of it. Saying "I Love You" doesn't have to be boring. Here are a few fun and silly ways to say those three little words.

Food makes a wonderful message board. A bowl of oatmeal with a strawberry jam I Love You in the middle is a perfect way to start the day. You might get a funny face, a weird look, but deep down inside they are smiling. I Love you spelled out in JELLO always make the little ones jiggle and giggle. With the use of whipped cream, writing gels, fruits and vegetables you can create a world of exciting mushy messages.

I adore the old classics myself. Writing I Love You in lipstick is an old favorite of mine. I think the best place is still the mirror; it's easiest to get off. On any given day my husband my find sticky notes all over the house, adorned with my little love expressions. I have rearranged his toothpicks spelling out I Love You. He smiles and shakes his head while he puts them back in their appropriate place.

Special occasions call for special attention. Thankfully, my husband is just as sappy as I am when it comes to romance. My fondest Valentine memory is when I came home from work with a rose message awaiting me. As I stepped into the house, there stood the words I Love You spelled out in single rose pedals, with a trail of pedals that led to a hot bubble bath, with candles, sparkling cider, and a little bath pillow.

I retaliated with a treasure hunt. I handed him a small present and inside was his gift and a clue to where he would find another present. His hunt was complete after he found his third gift. He was touched. It was great seeing him running around in excitement trying to locate his next gift.

Saying I Love You is necessary. There is nothing more important in this life then letting the people you love, know that you love them. It should be said loud, clear, and often. Every one should have that security and conviction of knowing they are loved. Having fun and coming up with clever ways to say it, just adds to the joy and privilege of expressing your love.
