I don't know if you have taken part in missing person emails. When you read: "These email(s) are not from us. Please DON'T support these spammers, or buy their products" you may not want to take part in the missing person emails any more, even it is true, for you are afraid of being cheated.

It is a nature reflection on it. However, since there is nothing wrong for us to participate in it to help find the person sooner, there is no reason that we stop taking part in missing person emails. It is like we eat every day, some day we are nearly chocked by our food, can you stop eating? Certainly not. Because we know it is not the fault of our food. However, we have to be very careful not to help the spammers, the scams, simply by checking it in advance. There are some persons to cheat us to gain support or money. And, there is a story about how a couple hid their child at home, and stated that their child was lost. As they expected, they received from the persons wanted to help. This is a kind of scam, which we have to be careful about. Even if we are a bit careless, and are cheated, what we lose is money, and our time, and what we gain is that we do in the sense that it is a good deed. It is not our fault at all.

Further, if we do not help when we know that some one needs help to save a life, for we doubt if it is a scam, we will be conscience-stricken later on.
We know the point is to check before blindly offering help, and it is right to help the others, so why not keep on helping those who need help in finding their family members?

So, if it is meant to help the others, and you find that it is not a scam, I think, it is a good deed if you take part in the missing person emails. If you can help a person who can be found by your efforts, it would be a pleasure. If God know about it, he will be very happy that you have done so.

There are some other ways to help to find a missing person. However, so long as it is one of the ways to find the person via email spreading, it is worth our efforts to resend them. If we can help someone by doing so, we will do it.

The conclusion is that if it is not a scam, just take part in it.
