markers WILL show up on your hands, though they are pastel-ish colors that aren't that noticeable
they will write on other things ie:clothes, walls, children, floor, beds, paper etc.
the markers are little, (thought they wouldn't last, but surprisingly they have)
the markers will bleed into each other when you draw over another color
the orange and red look alike as does the green and yellow and purple and blue ESPECIALLY if your child has "mixed" the color in the tips of the markers
You need to keep the markers tightly capped and sealed in a bag when not in use (I haven't had the drying out problem, though I can see where it could happen)
the lids on the markers are both hard to get on and off, they tend to loosen a bit after use but not much. In a way it's good because you are assured they are closed tight, but even my 6 year old son has trouble getting the lids to snap closed
When tracing a picture, it is hard to follow the exact line because of the illusion the plastic, over the picture you are tracing, gives off
Over all I would suggest color wonder products to anyone with children who enjoy art. Due to the coating on the black paper staining, it should be used with adult supervision or for older kids. And of course I would suggest racing out to buy the glow board, it has been hours of endless fun. My son and I both write secret messages for each other to find when the board is turned on.
