Product reviews: Crayola Color Wonder products

thick and durable
they have many stencils that come with the paper to make many creative scenes with

CONS:
IT IS MESSY! or well IT CAN BE!
the black coating on the paper WILL stain if it gets wet, while the marker itself is clear and wont stain, the coating is harsh. It stains everything from fingers to clothes to carpets..anything it is wiped on
the marker tips become dull and shred from pressing so hard to get the coating to disappear while you are drawing

it isn't the brightest colors unless you are able to really press down firmly to get the coating off
the markers run out VERY fast and dry out faster than a regular marker or even other color wonder marker, if left uncapped
you can't seem to find just a single maker to replace the empty one (or when I was buying this kind for my son you couldn't)

Last but not least, my favorite color wonder product!
The color wonder color EXPLOSION glow board. My son received one from his grandma on his birthday and we both played with that thing all night long.

Summary of the color explosion board. It is a black light that illuminates through the 2 layers of clear plastic. One layer is removable so both layers can be drawn on to create a variety of 3d scenes. You have the ability of turning the light on to show the first layer only, the second layer only, or a flashing animation between the two layers. It comes with 2 papers to slip behind the layers and trace. You can put pictures of people, or pages from a coloring book in behind the layer and trace that as well. It's almost like a flashing "OPEN" sing you see in store windows. Your pictures come to life when you have the flash effect going.

PROS:
easy to use and understand
bright colored markers
nice variety of colors
ability to show only first or second layer at a time, or both in an animated light show
Wipes off very easily with a damp cloth
board runs on batteries
the board comes with 2 3d scenes and descriptive instructions if needed
you get 6 markers with the board
you can store up to 8 markers around the edge of the board
stand in back lets the board stand up right or lay flat
while laying flat there are holders to allow your markers to stand up waiting to be used while coloring
easy enough for a young child to understand how to use it, but fun enough for the whole family to love
the markers aren't expensive to buy a refill pack
so far the markers have lasted for a month and a half being used every day
the board itself is cheap, around $20

CONS:
are there any? Ok, there is a couple ;)
