the others) until it is paid off, then cut it up and cancel it.
When you have paid off one credit card you should be able to pay double the minimum plus a little extra on the next one each month until it is paid off. For the next credit card you should be able to pay triple and so on.
As you pay off your cards cut them up and make sure they are canceled until you only have one, maybe two left. Pay them off and then keep them for emergencies or to pay your bills.
As long as you manage them properly and don't spend the limit every month credit cards are useful and convenient to have, you just have to learn how to discipline yourself.
If you don't have enough to pay the minimums you are going to have to go to the bank and consolidate all your cards with a personal loan. A personal loan will turn all of your cards into one debt with one monthly repayment, a lower interest rate and less fees.
Make sure you destroy your cards afterwards, do not go running them up to their limit again! Remember you are trying to get out of debt not sink further into it.
If the bank won't give you a loan pay the cards you can and then contact the others and work out an agreement of how you are going to pay before they start charging you late fees.
Another way of tiding yourself over until you can get back on your feet is to see if you have anything you can sell. You must of accumulated enough useless stuff during your shopping sprees to consider having a garage sale or a clothing party, where you buy or swap each others pre loved clothing or Ebay could be an option.
Getting out of debt is possible but it will be a struggle to start off with. They key is to stop borrowing money, especially to pay off debt.
Keep in contact with all your creditors before they come to you, that way you will have a chance of sorting things out before they get out of hand.
Most importantly of all have a budget or a map of where all your money goes. When you have a budget you are in control of your money and you can make sure your spending does not exceed what you earn.
Who knows maybe one day you will have enough money left over to be able to start a savings plan.
