Little Children, It's True.

The Word tells how God made the world, in six days it was done
He rested on the seventh, the Father and the Son
Walked and talked with Adam, in the garden He had made
Everything was apples, 'til the serpent suckered Eve

It tells of brother Noah, how God gave him the plan
To build an ark, before the rain began
The neighbours said He's crazy!, called him an old goat

But as the flood was rising, they wished they were in his boat

"Suffer the little children, to come unto Me" He said
"I will give them peace and still their fear
I know they will believe Me, they don't need fairy tales
They only need My Word, and It can never fail."

Of Abraham and Sarah, the Lord told to come out
From everything, unto a promised land
He didn't have directions, he just kept walking on
Until he got his promised son, and met Melchizedec too

Tells of Lot and how his wife was turned into a pile
Of salt because she wouldn't look ahead
She couldn't leave the money the power and the fame
Her interests were just in the world and not what God had said

It tells of brother Moses, how God worked in a man
Delivered all His children, from slaves at Pharaoh's hand
Shows us how God walled up, the Red sea, dried the floor
So Israel could get safe across, but Pharaoh drowned for sure

It speaks about bold Joshua, about strong Samson too
Of Daniel in the lion's den, and sure, It is all true
It tells about a donkey that spoke to a foolish man
It isn't science fiction, but God's redeeming plan

"Suffer the little children, to come unto Me" He said
"I will give them peace and still their fear
I know they will believe me, they don't need fairy tales
They only need My Word, and It can never fail"

Tells of the prophet Jonah, the Lord told him to sail
Across the sea a way unto Tarshish
That prophet wasn't willing, it wasn't what he'd planned
Then God had him delivered in a very special fish

It tells of how the Lord came, to set His children free
By paying for our sins, upon the cross at Calvary
It tells of how He comes again, to call His children home
The second coming of the Lord, but only for His own.
