How to fight spam

by Cobor

The problem:
For the restricted area of a site or even to get a temporary service, participation in a chat or a newsgroup almost always there is registration required to be confirmed by clicking on a link sent to our email and for this we must add between data recording our email address.

The problem is that supply their email address when signing up for a web site can become, at times, dangerous. Certainly not risk their lives, but our mailbox is. Starting from this moment onwards, we can no longer know what the creators of the Internet site will make our e-mail. It 'sure that sooner or later we indicated at that, coming avalanche of spam, with its annexes and related decidedly unwanted and that we will lose a lot of time with the risk of dealing in on-line fraud (phishing).

The question:
How can we avoid all this but continue to use all the services, even for a short time, without running the risk of seeing our mailbox invaded spam?

The solution:
Fortunately for us every day, the web invents things always new and unique: one of these things is for our email is the disposable email or temporary.
On the Net, there are several sites that offer us almost always free and without registration service temporary email for a time that normally can go from 10 minutes to 7 days with the possibility of extending the life if necessary.
All email addresses take from these sites will be valid only for the time specified time to time, and then just the right time to receive the email and consult, after which the message in the account are destroyed. Perfect, for example, to subscribe to the many Internet services that require a confirmation email. Services which often do not provide us like ours, true, because we think email could then be included in any list spam.

The service is very simple, generally do not need to register (it would be a contradiction), click the words "Get my temporary address" and automatically appear as the first valid email address for a certain period. Make a copy and paste and use it to address subscriber to the site or service must send the confirmation code.
Your email temporary easily be consulted on the same page that you open, if the established time is not enough (the service late to send email) you can click the word "more minutes!" And the delay of your self fictitious email address.

Remember, however, that these addresses are always accessible to all, and therefore is not recommended the use of any kind for services "personal".
The e-mail boxes are temporary use only Internet sites that we do not use more in the future or on sites which are not trust us.
In other cases, we use our e-mail, because e-mail received in e-mail boxes will only be read by all those who know the e-mail temporarily.
