still a child, but his new outer persona really impressed a lot of people (including me and he hadn't even reached 13 yet!). In the meantime, he has grown more hair in more parts of his body, which shall remain unnamed, save to say that his top lip was now beginning to show the promise of a handsome moustache. I have, by this time, resigned myself to the fact that I was in for a lot more surprises!

I do a lot of work on my computer and the emergence of the information superhighway a few years back has made a lot of things so much easier by making information so much more accessible but it has also left me struggling to keep up with technology. As you would probably be aware, computer training has now become part of regular school curriculum in most schools, so it is understandable that children would pick up some really good PC skills, having been born cable ready, and having a seemingly natural understanding of the internet and how it all works. Also, these days a lot of the homework given to kids are computer based and so they would quite often have to rely on the internet for research. And so, as highly as I regard my own PC skills, I had oftentimes conceded defeat and resorted to yelling out to my sons for help.

Well, I was happily working on my computer one day, and this was during the advent of pop-up ads, when lo and behold, pictures of women in various states of undress (or should I say, nakedness?) popped-up! I was so shocked that my first reaction was to yell out for my husband and blast the bejesus out of him! I was so sure it was him that must have been surfing porno sites and these sites have a way of getting into your computer and you just can't get rid of them! He flatly denied it and of course I didn't believe him! Why, who else could possibly do it! I could not even contemplate the thought that any of my boys would do such a thing! No! They couldn't possibly! That would be so disrespectful to their mother. It is my PC after all! Well, this happened a few more times and it was really causing a lot of tension between me and my husband as he continued to deny any knowledge of it.

That was until, I came home one day and as I opened the front door, I found my younger sons once again, on the hallway floor giggling hysterically as quietly as they could manage. Of course I asked them what's so funny. And the youngest one said, in between giggles, "Z is in the lounge room looking at pictures of naked women on your magazine and playing with himself!" I
