I adore the movie, "What a Girl Wants", starring Mel Gibson and Helen Hunt. This movie is one of the many movies in Hollywood, that try to accurately depict the differences between women and men. The reason this movie is so unique and stands memorably alone from the rest, is because this movie centers a round the different mind set of women versus men. What made Mel Gibson's character so desirable and interesting to the female characters in this movie, as the movie progressed, was his character's miraculous gift of listening to the most inner thoughts of women he encountered.

The more he listened the more he was able to understand these women and because of his new found epiphany, his character was able to specifically fulfill the wants and needs of their utmost desires. That is the secret gentlemen that is what a girl wants.

Interesting thing about listening and understanding another person, it forces an individual to concentrate on the thought process of the one who is being understood. Often men make the mistake of thinking for us ladies and relate to the perspective women in their lives, as they themselves think we are thinking and low and behold it is all down hill from there. I personally believe this is attributed to the societal myth that the man should be in control of his environment and engagements in life, in order to be a man who can be considered a strong desirable man in the eyes of others and women surrounding him, let me explain.

From a young age, little boys who then become grown men are conditioned to conquer and influence the outcome of their selected quest, through various habit forming activities such as fighting with GI Joe army men, sports, video games and so on and so on. All these simple, playful activities have a common denominator which is; they condition the brain to not be vulnerable. These various actions cripple most men to habitually have the pressure of always remaining a winner always being in control of his circumstances and does not leave much room for vulnerability. What a disservice and a farce that society has told Adam God's man.

One has to ponder on why the Bible remains to be the number one best seller of all times. In the Bible Eve the woman, was to be a gift an aid to Adam the man. We as humans know that the best course of action to enjoy a gift is to know and understand the use of that gift,similar to a life line in your favorite video game. So I propose to you to ponder on this; in this glorious month of February, the month of Love, learn to be vulnerable to the women in your lives, for that is required in order to truly enjoy the gift that the Creator has bestowed upon you. Allow us women to be who we were intended to be, allow us to be your knights in shiny armors and you will truly be the sexiest man alive.
