Need to make extra money quickly? Have you run short on ideas and time? Then look no further than your computer to start generating some quick cash for your needs. Now, this won't make you rich and it's not a steady income but it can make a difference when you are in a bind.

First of all, in the case you do not have access to a computer or own a computer, you can head to your local library, friend or neighbor's house. Then go to ebay and craigslist and start listing your items. In most cases, craigslist has no fees and is local, and ebay as you probably are aware is worldwide and incurs fees.

Take stock of what you have in your home or office to sell. This could include kids clothes, toys, video games, electronics, items you no longer use, household items, music, books equipment, services, and more. Then, take pictures of these items and list them on craigslist or ebay according to the prompts on the screen.

You could also visit half.com, a division of ebay if you do not mind waiting a little longer for the item to sell. If you need the cash in a hurry, it's good to have a three or five day listing on eBay. And, on craigslist make sure your listing is not buried, but do not keep reposting.

No items to sell? Consider selling baked goods, crafts, quilts, sewing, gift baskets, instructional book or service you offer.

If you do not want to go this route and want to stay unplugged, consider a garage sale in warmer weather. Make sure you advertise with signs around your area.

If you can spare a little cash, put an ad in the paper for lawn mowing, babysitting, elderly companionship, yard work or house/pet sitting. You can also put flyers on the doorsteps around your neighborhood that you print on the computer.

Try to put in for overtime at work, let it be known (if possible) that you are available for extra hours.

You can also try clipping coupons or printing coupons on the Internet and shopping on double coupon days. While this won't generate extra cash, savings will add up and free up cash for other things.

Do you sew or have a special skill? Consider advertising around your neighborhood and posting flyers on local bulletin boards and at groups you attend.

If all else fails, put your two sense in and create a list of your own. Keep a pen and paper handy and jot down ideas as they come to you.
