High taxes and their effects

More on Taxes

By Arlene Wright-Correll

Right after Clinton strode into the White House, he promised to make the rich pay "their fair share". Taxes would go up, but they'd hit corporations and the rich, and spare the middle class. Clinton could not blame Bush Sr. as much as he tried for cooking the books to mask the true size of the deficit until after the election.

Now that Clinton is gone and another Bush Jr. is in we all know that Clinton knew the true story from the beginning as each of them have as they take office since the deficit went out of control. How can anyone be a scapegoat for anything when just about everyone in office thinks their plan of calling for $3.00 in spending cuts and $1.00 in raised taxes or $6.00 in tax increases and $1.00 in spending cuts!

Listen, without the rich, there would be no serious economy in the world. It is as simple as that. This country abounds with Horatio Alger stories, daily in every walk of life.

This is still the only country in the world that has a middle class. But it is swiftly eroding away and the only way you will ever be able to stop that will be through the use of trusts just like the rich have always done and as every incoming president does and as all politicians do.

Stop reading the newspapers and the media scare tactics that are published about the rules and regulations regarding trusts. Find out the true facts and get on with protecting your assets.

How does this effect real estate and real estate investments? Everything that happens on this small planet whether it is in Bosnia, Somalia, Cambodia or Kent state effects our daily lives and the way we make a living.

Look what happened to our economy after 9-11 or the hurricanes in Florida or Katrina in New Orleans. Even the baloney about trade wars effect what we do.

We should not be worrying about stopping imports, we should be worrying about getting our goods out to other countries and then we would have jobs back.

We should have the pioneer spirit again and have the mentality to realize that we can go beyond our borders in other things besides wars and police actions.
