Poetry: First love

"Fairy Tales Questioned"

As she sat one early bustling morn
The heart of this lovesick juvenile was torn.
The decision she had to make,
Neither option could she take.

No one knew her while she wonder.
Confusion sent her resolves asunder.
Her perception seemed a blur.
Words came out in jumbled slur.

Blasts of pain her memories came.
In the past was she to blame?
She dared to dream of future days
When naivety had gone as childish phase.

As the nursery rhymes and fairy tales,
Could his kisses cure past ails?
Would his soft words and gentle touch
Relieve what once had stung so much?
