Do Babies Need Brand Name Clothing?

Need is a strong word here. No babies don't really NEED brand name clothing. Babies are content with whatever you put on them, as long as they are comfortably warm and dry. However, there is absolutely nothing wrong with a parent wanting to put them in brand name clothing if that is what they WANT to do. It is just not NEEDED per se.

I think it's very nice to have at least one or two outfits at a child's current size, which are either so cute that you don't care if it isn't a name brand item, or that actually are of a brand name. These are great to have for your little one to wear to cousin Jimmy's wedding, to church, or maybe just for those numerous milestone photos that many of us parents have taken and hand out to family and friends.

For some lucky parents, the price may not be a problem, however, if you are trying to be budget conscience and still have your little tyke wearing name brand clothes there are ways to get them regularly for cheaper prices. Yard sales are great sources, especially subdivision-wide sales where you can check out many sales at once to save time (a precious commodity for almost everyone)! Or, if you'd rather, there are always eBay auctions to browse from the comfort of your own home. Many parents are turning to this on-line buying and selling source rather than putting the time into yard sales. Odds are great that you can find the brand you are searching for on eBay right now. In my city, there is also a store called 'Once Upon a Child' that sells gently used clothing at discounted prices. It's also a great source for parents to sell clothing back to!

The above advice is just a fraction of the ways you can keep your baby in style - yet still be able to save some money - for things like buying them their first car or maybe to start that college fund you've been meaning to initiate.
