I'm a college student and I'm always thinking up get rich quick schemes setting them up getting bored of them and moving onto the next one.. so i should know quite a bit about this!Obviously the Internet is full of money making opportunities so ill try focus on some in the real world before hand....
1. CAR BOOT/YARD SALE
A really easy way to clear out your home and get rid of clutter and it tends to bring in a bit of money. Although this can be also done on ebay (see below, under Internet), but if this is a community car boot or yard sale then you can promote yourself much better and you dint have to worry about postage and delivery as you do on ebay.
2. FILL A NEED
i go to college, which is also a secondary school and as such im surrounded by younger children who i noticed tend to spend all their money on sweets at shops after school rather than actually buying their lunch. So i had seen the opportunity and i went out to cheaper shops and bought in food in bulk and sold them to the kids around break time. This was extremely lucrative but as i found out ... not within the school rules, but still this is an example, if you see a need fill it, .. for a small profit :D
3. THE INTERNET
1) WRITING
Well, pretty obviously what im doing right now, writing on websites like helium which give a share of advertising income to writers pay quite well, especially when you enter the contests and marketplace. Its also very good to get recognition for your knowledge and views..
2) VIDEO MAKING
Another way is video making, www.metacafe.com pays out $100 when your videos reach 20,000 and another few dollars every hundred after, although this is a slow process to begin with, but after a few weeks, with good quality videos it is well worth while and the money starts to flow in. You can also link these videos to your blogs and website etc to gain extra advertising income via ...
3) GOOGLE AD-SENSE
Can be put onto any blog or website simply by registering it with google and copy and pasting their ready made blocks of adverts into your webpage's code. Its quite simple and the setup up guide talks you through it very well, and basically the more clicks you get on the adverts on your page the more income you receive.
4) EBAY
The modern sensation, an online marketplace you can sell pretty much anything, ive sold all of my clutter out of my room, dvds, games, cds etc and ive gained hundreds of pounds ! If you have a house of things to sell almost anything you can think of that you dont use, you can sell on ebay, even cars. Payment is so much simpler with the use of paypal it would be stupid not ot take advantage of it!
5) FILLING IN SURVEYS
Sites like cashcrate.com allow anyone to fill in online surveys, enter competitions and test software for money. Again very simple, it is best to set up a new email account to register for these type of offers and surveys as you receive alot of spam mail from them.
