Is clothing for young girls too provocative?

Is young women's clothing getting ridiculous? Is that something we even have to wonder about at this point? Been to Target lately? No? How about the grocery store, everyone needs food, right? If you have, I'm sure you must have noticed to parade of human flesh, the veritable meat market bouncing around in front of you. Women didn't used to have to dress like prostitutes to be liked, asked out or to get attention - and children and juveniles certainly didn't. Now, however, even kids are wearing skirts up to their bottoms and tops that either barely cover their torso, are so sheer they may as well not even be there. Even more classless are the shirts which are so tight you can see every line, every curve, every roll of fat that exists. Why? Why! Women, if you want to be a prostitute and use your body to grab attention in such a classless and base manner, then at least have the decency to do it at night on the street corner and not in my grocery store where I'm trying to pick out something to eat. You wonder why men treat women with less respect nowadays and more like dispensable objects? It's because women allow it. They treat themselves with less respect and present themselves as dispensable human beings complete with prostitute's clothing. And what's sad is this writer is unsure if this tend is so rampant because young women today just don't know it's unseemly and wrong because they've been raised with their mother's buying them thongs since they were 12, if they think it's the only way to get attention from men, or if they just don't care that they look like penny-prostitutes. Here's a hint of how to tell if you look like a woman for hire: If your skirt is so short, you can see your thighs rubbing together, or if your top is so low or tight that you can see your nipples/bra through it as if it weren't there, then you look like you're ready to give oral satisfaction to the nearest wallet and should immediately throw such "clothing" into the nearest bon-fire with as much vehemence as you can possibly muster. Don't let the clothing merchandisers turn you or your children into something you never wanted to be; just because it's for sale doesn't mean you should be, and it absolutely doesn't mean you should buy it. If girls/women want to be treated with respect and if young women want to be hired for what they know, not for their probable penchant of laying their boss, then button up, dress respectably, stop trying to emulate spears and her ilk and start acting like an intellectual human being, not a bimbo. It is possible, now go do it!
