Sinking Feeling
Such a nice day
You could go for a walk
Holding out just a little longer
Braving the storm,
The wind and the fire
Coming on quite a bit stronger
Dance your last dance
Make a wish; take a chance
Live the romance that you hunger
Just remember there's an end
For which you fight and defend
In the midst of the perilous thunder
But it's such a nice day
We should go for a walk
Let the World sink and go under

Poetry: Inner peace
"My Peace Affirmation"
We see our past thoughts and wishes
Reflected back to us
Coming again into consciousness
Variou s kinds
A Spirit deep within me
Was yearning to be free.
To soar above with eagles;
And skim high above the trees.
But angered winds
Inner Peace
Closing her eyes and looking inside
"there's a calm she feels" no restless tide.
There is quiet, there is rest
by Toni Doswell
Only God gives inner peace
A peace not of this earth
For on this earth we hurt and pain
Reaching for the moon and falling
Winds of Peace & Hope
I woke from my slumber
To the gentle patter of rain
Gazing from my window in my loft
What do I see?
