Job search resources that will help get your resume seen

You have several resources available to help get your resume seen by as many people as possible, thereby increasing your chances of landing the perfect job. These resources include:

*On-line Job Boards - You can sign up for free on the more reputable job boards such as...

*Monster.com
*Salestarget. com
*TotalJobs.com
*Jobs.com
*Car eerBuilder.com
*HotJobs.com

All you do is sign up for a free account, then either copy and paste or upload your resume from your computer, directly onto the job board website. Headhunters from all over the Country are competing with each other to find qualified talent in just about every field of employment.

So, if you have a good education and/or years of experience in your field of work, then someone will be in touch with you through the job board. Just make sure not to advertise your contact information, because all that stuff remains anonymous. Recruiters will be contacting you based on the skills, and training information you list on your resume.

-

*Local Employment Office:

Another resource that will help get your resume seen is your local employment office. If you're currently unemployed or you're looking to change jobs or careers, then you may find the perfect job through their job listings. It worth a try.

*Local and Regional Major Employers Websites:

Be sure to check the website of major employers in your area as they frequently post help wanted jobs on their own sites. Many of them will accept a copy of your CV on-line. If so, be sure to put your best resume forward because a decision maker could see your resume at just the right moment.

-

*Permanent and Temp Agency Websites:

Make sure you check the major ones such as... ManPower, Remedy, Kelley and AppleOne

Sometimes you can contact an agency and be the perfect candidate for jobs that haven't even been listed yet. Besides it's always a good idea to cultivate a positive relationship with a couple of recruiters so they'll keep you in mind when something right up your street comes on the job market.
