The First Time
I recall the first time
I was caught swearing by my Dad
The neighbour's dog came at me
And I was raging mad
It snapped around my ankles
It's teeth bared, I lost my head.
I could hardly kick the dog away
So I swore at it instead.
It quickly turned and ran away
I had a smile from ear to ear.
Then I saw my Dad in the window
And heard him shout COME HERE!
I quickly walked up the driveway
As slowly as I dared
The angry dog had frightened me
Now I was really scared.
He met me in the kitchen
And asked what I had said
I told the naughty dog to go away Dad
And play nicely instead
OK Son he said to me
Trying to hide his grin
I believe in every word you say
Just do not let it happen again!

You took my breathe away
I stood staring at your beauty
Not knowing it I saw an angel
Standing
The first time I tried to take my first steps
I felt oh so frightened;
I felt like I was all alone and every baby step
I took
FIRST FLIGHT
Three years ago, he hit the ground.
I marveled at the wonder found.
This boy bewitched me from the start,
One shake
