Ladies, beware: Men to avoid ... forever

So many men, so little time. Fortunately for us women, about seventy-five percent of them are ones that we should all learn to avoid. It is difficult enough to find a guy that we are both attracted to, and that is attracted to us, as well. Alot of women have a tendency to choose a man that is not good enough for them, especially while young (I was no exception...). It's almost as if there should be a list of guidelines for some women, because there are some great guys out there that we don't give a second glance because he may not be good looking enough, or he isn't a bad boy. The bad boys are not always the most fun guys to date, they are in all actuality the worst ones to date. Problem is, we just can't resist them.

~The jobless guy. You know the one that hangs out at home (which is most likely his parent's house) and plays video games all day and drinks all night. This is the fella that simply refuses to grow up. Girl, if he is twenty or twenty nine, and this is what your man is doing while you are out working, this is most likely how it will be for the rest of your relationship. Get rid of him, now!

~The 'flexible hours' job guy. And by that I mean the guy that (ahem!) sells drugs for a living. Just because he has a new flat screen, and his fancy car is souped up, does not mean that he can give you a lavish lifestyle. This can be dangerous, and it is not wise.

~The married man. Especially if he has kids with his wife. If you can avoid falling in love with the guy that is taken, do so. I imagine that sometimes you just can't help the way that you feel about certain people, but getting involved with a married guy almost never works out for the 'mistress'.

~An incarcerated man. Do I really need to elaborate on this one? If a guy has been to jail, or in prison, re-think it. If he often finds himself at odds with the law, then forget him altogether (Except if he is like Martin Sheen, and has gotten arrested over seventy times for protesting). Once he has a permanent record, you may not want to get mixed up in his drama.

~Daddy junior. Just because you love your daddy does not mean that you need to marry or date a guy that looks, walks, talks, acts, or reminds you of your father. Gross.

~Your boss. It is not smart to date anyone that you work closely with, and your boss or supervisor is no exception. It will make you and anyone that you work with uncomfortable, as well as put your job in jeopardy.

~Your best-friend's/sister's/cousin' s/ ex. The last thing that you need to hear is him comparing your sex life with that of his and your friend or sister, or cousin. Plus, who wants sloppy seconds?

~The player. You know the guy that has a line for everything, and is oh-so-smooth, and easy on the eyes. He dresses well, he is popular, he is cool, and he will date any woman that he can, and most likely not call you back the next morning. Also known as the man-whore.

~Best-friends husband's best-friend. You all hang out together anyway? Don't ruin it by attempting a relationship with him, unless you are sure that you won't make everyone else uncomfortable when it all goes wrong.

~The slacker. Even if he tries to work at a half-assed job like Burger King or Taco Bell, but mainly to support his weed habit, and the beer that goes with it. This guy will usually hang out at your place with all of his slacker buddies.

These are just the few guys that you will have to try and side step throughout your dating career. Though you will find a few good fish from the sea, there will be far more that you will want to throw back. If you are in doubt, remember, it is not always you that may have the problem. Not all guys are perfect.
