Jealousy is such a dangerous emotion. This is particularly so when it is between a husband and wife.

A number of reasons can lead to a husband becoming jealous. If the wife flirts with other men, this is not likely to lead to a warm reception from some husbands.

Getting made up to go out with the girls, but not bothering to do so when out for an evening with the husband, may also see his temperature rise a little. Actually, on that subject, if wives have secrets, which they share only with their friends and not with their husbands, this can cause the "green-eyed" monster to appear on occasions.

Occasionally husbands will also become jealous of a wife who builds a relationship with their children, to the exclusion of the husband. They can see it as them being excluded from the family unit. This situation can also occur in the relationship between a wife and her mother.
