What are the celebration dates that are unique to you or your family. The dates when you make a special effort to remember and celebrate, maybe dress up for a special family dinner or a table for two in a nice restaurant or perhaps include some special prayers or a formal spiritual celebration.

I believe that each person and each family have these very special dates.

We celebrate: The Day we first met
The date when we first knew that our first child was on the way
Our Children's milestones in life
Each year we pick a day to celebrate our long marriage and we also
celebrate our Wedding Anniversary every year.
We celebrate our continued good health each year on the first
Sunday in February.

These are just a few - There are at least two celebrations per month in our household.

Then last July my husband went for a medical check-up and he was told that he needed heart bypass surgery. He had his operation on the 30th July and it was a complete success. Now we have something that is another special to celebrate. Again this year we will celebrate our good health on the first Sunday in February - because he was lucky - he was diagnosed early.

From now on we will celebrate two birthdays for him - his actual date of birth and his new birthday the 30th July each year.

Oh Boy, are we glad to have another celebration! It is really good to be able to say thank you.

When we celebrate in whatever fashion that makes us feel happy and good, we say thank you and spread a little joy among our friends and neighbours. We show the other person how important they are to us. We are also telling friends and family that this occasion is very important to us.

Sometimes the celebration is very private and will not be shared with anyone else - Each reader will recognize these special occasions that nobody else knows about. They are very special and rear. They are the most previous of celebrations because they are unique to you two. Treasure each time that you celebrate and just enjoy the occasion.
