My Best Friends Murder

Anne could not believe it. She was still in shock from the phone call she received earlier that morning stating her best friend had been murdered. Who would do such a thing? How could this have happened? Who could be that cold? As these questions whirled through her mind she sunk into depression. Feeling bad about not seeing her friend for over a year, life's business had kept them miles apart for some years now. They always talked about getting together, but never found the time. Now she would never see or talk with her friend again.

Madison had been found at her home, strangled. No one could believe that this could happen to some one like Madison. She was a bright, beautiful, young woman with a lot going for her, and she got along with everyone. Madison had just graduated from college, and she was going to move back to her home town in South Dakota.
Madison had thrown a small party to celebrate her graduation the night before she was murdered. It was just Madison, her friend Jayde, her sister Margo, her brother Morgan, and her boyfriend Jackson at the party, and they all left at the same time. Margo, Madison's younger sister, is a little heavier and shorter than Madison, but she has the same beautiful auburn hair. Jackson is a very hansom, brown eyed brown haired man; he and Madison had been dating for 4 years. Morgan, Madison's brother, did not get the auburn hair; he got his father's brown hair and green eyes. Jayde had been Madison's friend since she started college; she is the reason that Madison met Jackson. Jayde also had an auburn colored hair, but it was lighter than Madison's.
Nobody could believe that any of the people to last see Madison could be the murderers, they were all her friends and family, but the police suspected otherwise. The investigation had been underway for two days now, and the police only had the brother, sister, boyfriend, and friend as suspects. It had to be one of them; they were, in fact, the last ones to see her alive before her body was discovered by her poor mother. She found Madison's body the next morning, after driving all night to come down and congratulate her for graduating; it was going to be a surprise.
The cause of death was obvious upon first observation of the crime scene. There was a sever rope abrasion around her neck. After the body had been removed from the scene and transported to the coroner's office, it was declared that the cause of death was strangulation.
