What would you do without your best friend? This is the person that's always there for you. This gift idea is solely geared toward women. I can't think of a better way to make a friend feel special than to give her flowers or a plant. Get a nice vase to go with the flowers or invest in a nice pot for the plant.

How is your friend's home decorated? Do you know what kind of wall hangings they might like? Unique candles are always a nice gift to give your friend.

The main thing to keep in mind when shopping for your friend is that because the gift is coming from you, they will love it. So, don't stress over it and trust your own judgment on what the perfect gift would be.
