Some people can be so difficult to buy for, and for all kinds of reasons. I have often found in my experience that men are invariably more difficult to buy for than women. Sorry guys but I am not being sexist but how many men would be happy with a bunch of flowers, a basket full of toiletries, a pretty picture frame or a nice day out at the local spa?
However, if you are really stuck for what to give someone, most people are happy to accept anything that someone has put any thought into.
Choosing something for those "hard to buy for" men in our life:
Men tend to be quite specific in their interests, be it football, photography, gaming etc. so why not look for something related to their interests? You could treat your man to a new piece of kit, or buy him that special 150mm lens that he wants for his camera or if your man is a PS3 gaming fanatic then treat him to a few extra accessories for his system. Tee shirts are also a good gift and there are plenty of good websites such as AllPosters.com who have a pretty good selection of fun and retro wear.
Men also love gadgets and there are plenty of choices available for you on the web. Beware though, the gift you buy has to have a point to them and be of fairly good quality. A great gift would be a mini digital frame key ring that can hold downloaded photos of his choice. A camera watch would be useful or a palm top computer. What about an alcohol tester? A fun gift could be a programmable Frisbee or a drinking game, Swiss army tools, and a remote controlled car.
And if you are really stuck, then why not treat him to an "experience" day? There are a great many to choose from and include rally days, flying a light aircraft, helicopter flights and a day in a recording studio.
Another difficult person to buy for is your average teenager:
Just how hard can it be to buy your kid a birthday present? If you don't want you chosen gift cruelly sneered at on the day, be mindful of the fact that that you will need to buy something that involves being the "most up to date", the "coolest", and often the most expensive. However, with a little savvy you can get some really good deals online and also get a fairly good notion of what is going to appeal to your child at the moment.
With teenagers their main likes are anything to do with music, movies, photos or the web. iPods are really popular at the moment as are the latest and most trendiest camera phones. If your pocket can't stretch to the sort of choice that your teenager will accept,
