Witchcraft, dragons and dragon slayers

(Welcome to the Enchanted Land, a land of brave knights, beautiful princesses, and where dragons roam.)

Stories and legends about dragons and dragon slayers have been passed from one generation to the other till this very day. Dragons were depicted as fiery monsters that were bent on destruction in the protection of their domain or in conquest; some of the stories told of the kidnap of a lovely princess by the fiery beast and in all tales a gallant knight came to her rescue.

There are several species of dragons from the slithering Wyrms, (2) the bounding Drakes (3), to the mighty winged dragon. White Dragons inhabited frosty cold and snow in the far north; Red Dragons are typically fire breathers and inhabited volcanic lands; the Blue Dragon inhabited the sea at one time; the Black Dragons were oily smoke breathers and inhabited areas cursed by lava flows when volcanoes were extinct, and their diet was limited cold volcanic rock and ash. The dragons roamed the forests and made their lair in the high mountains. From time to time they made forays onto the nearby
