Commentary: How our entire economy is being outsourced

to blame. It may cost a bit more money to give our money to American companies that employ American workers, but American companies will provide that if consumers demand it. However, if we are not willing to pay $99 for the same product or service another company offers for $89 by outsourcing labor, then offering the plan for $99 makes as much business sense as stocking American products that do not sell alongside foreign products that do sell, merely to show support for American workers.

After all, there is no money in going broke.

There is hope, however, if consumers somehow become aware of the importance of paying neighbors rather than paying taxes to provide for neighbors. The government would help more to give tax incentives to companies that employ American workers rather than buying votes with redistribution programs that provide a shot in the arm with no long-term benefit. Americans have become accustomed to living high on the hog, and expecting the government to breed pigs to maintain that standard. Politicians consider it good business to promise the pork.

In Peonic society, the children of slaves were enslaved for their parents' debts. As we allow the government to borrow money our children will have to repay without jobs, we create a virtual Peonic society, and our children will be enslaved simply because we demand it.
