Choosing between being clever or being good-looking

I would have to choose to be good-looking. Because if I were gorgeously breath-taking, then I wouldn't care how clever or smart, or witty that I was not as long as I owned a mirror. You see, you can always get smarter, we grow and we change, and we evolve into much more than what we are given at birth (obviously). Not being good-looking, that would mean that I would have to buy my prettiness, and in my state of being not so rich, I can not really afford that. Of course if I were clever, I could come up with some kind of plan to get my hands on that cash, but since I don't like pain (I cry when I break a nail...), I would rather be good-looking from the start.

Fortunately for me, I am both good-looking as well as clever! So, I do not have to choose between the two. I am still, however non-rich, but I am in the market for getting my hands on some money, and will be applying my cleverness to become rich. Along with my fine good looks, and my sharp mind, I am also a bit self-absorbed (as you can see, by now). I am conceited, or as I refer to it, overly confident, but I have limits. I simply accept myself for who I am. I do have my drawbacks, and my problems, and bad habits, and such. And I admit to most of them, but for the most part, I accept them. Seriously, I am good-looking (check my profile and see for yourself), and man am I clever!

But to answer the question seriously, if I were to choose, it would have to be cleverness. This for many reasons, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and if you do not have a personality to back it up, you have nothing. Actually you can be the prettiest person in the world, yet not have anything else if you have a bad attitude, or very little brains. In a perfect world, a nice balance between the two would be ideal. Take all the pretty gals in Hollywood that are riding on their looks, what in the world will they do when those perfect bodies are not so perfect, and their flawless skin is wrinkled, and they still can't act? And if they are brainless (like Paris and Jessica Simpson, admit it gals), they will be nowhere.

Also, I know several people that are nice looking, yet have zero personality, and couldn't be clever if their lives depended on it. And, ladies, how many hot guys have you dated that were either clueless or rude? Looks may amount to much, but they can not get you a smart job, or allow you to soar to heights that you could only imagine.

I am an attractive person, but I do pride myself on being nice and respectful to others. I am kind, I am thoughtful, and I have a good attitude (for the most part). I am not the most gorgeous woman in the world, but I can hold my own. If it is what is inside that matters, I am golden. I am so witty and clever, and creative at times that it often scares me. But, I continue to learn, and to grow every day of my life, and I love it. I have a thirst for knowledge, and I aim for the top. Plus, I still maintain a pretty tight beauty regime. So, I believe that I may have a good balance of both. Yes, my friend I am good-looking, and very witty! Thank you so much for inquiring!
