"Why do men have to be such idiots?" Nadia asked her friend Elena as they talked on the phone.
"Why can't I just find a man who is intelligent, educated, and who pays attention to me and not so much my breasts?" Elena broke out into a hysterical laugh.
"Nadia, you're just too picky. You don't give men the chance to prove themselves to you. Remember the last guy? What was his name?"
"Daniel," I replied.
"Oh yeah, yeah! Him. He was gorgeous, girl and after two dates, you never saw him again. Tell me why that is again? I need a good laugh."
"BECAUSE, Miss Elena, he had this habit of licking his lips. It was so distracting. Every five minutes he was running his tongue across his mouth as if he were trying to entice me into sleeping with him."
"Nadia, you are so crazy. You might as well find a man through the net because from your best friend's perspective, the only man that will ever be able to get to you is one who can't see you. Anyway, I gotta go, girl. Anthony is waiting for me downstairs. We're going to a movie."
"Alright then, Elena. Have fun. I'll be here at home...dateless...as usual."

She browsed the chatroom names and found one called "single 2 mingle". It sounded corny, but what did she have to lose? She quickly clicked and entered the room which appeared to be full of people.
Just as quickly as she had entered the chatroom, she began to receive instant messages from individuals asking for her age, sex and location.
"28/f/NY" she replied back to the various messages. She began to talk to each man and tried getting to know them. There was one particular gentleman who was from New York as well, that particularly caught her attention. His screen name was LonelyNYrkr32. From what Nadia could gather, he was a 32 year old gentleman named Mike who worked for an advertising firm, he graduated from NYU with a degree in advertising, he lived in New York but wasn't too specific on where and he hated cats.
Nadia and Mike chatted almost the entire night. Of course, Nadia was skeptical about what this guy
