Shivering in the bitter cold, the sickly smell of flesh discomforted the dark assassin. He still gripped his blades, ever so tightly, for he knew the fate that was sure to come to him. But what he did not know was when. Peeking around the stone building he was taking refuge beside, illuminating the dirt road was hundreds if not thousands of torches, all searching for him. The man stood approximately six feet tall and was 26 years of age. Suddenly, he began to hallucinate and relive the events that happened not three hours earlier
At this time, it was broad daylight. The frequently traveled dirt road was being used by crowds of people, the perfect place for a felon to retreat to when the time should come. He then opened a medicine cabinet and retrieved a small corked vial, which was placed in the cuff of his right pant leg. The Assassin ascended to the surface and set out of the tavern. He nodded to the barmaid and walked quickly across the street into the town hall. In the front hall stood two guards, armed with nothing but bayonets. As he tried to enter the foyer, he was stopped by the guards who stood three feet from him on either side. Reaching into his pocket, he pulled the small daggers out and into the palms of his hands, not visible by the guards. After trying three times to verbally motivate the assassin, they began to retrieve there batons, and the second they raised them, their bodies went limp and they fell to the ground in a pool of blood.
Soon, the authorities would come, so the assassin had to act quickly. After cleaning
