Outsourcing: A boom or bust for American business?

For a long time, there are disputes about outsourcing, and I have read many articles written to blame outsourcing, and many think that it causes more problems than cures for American business. It is simply not true.

Thinking of Japan, you will find that that country depends largely on outsourcing, though Japan produces nice things, such as cars etc., however, you may also have noticed that Japan will die without outsourcing. Though the US has much richer resources, some of the products cannot meet the demands from the citizens in the US. So, there is a need of outsourcing. If the US stops outsourcing, there would be many problems popped up related to the shortage of some of the products, such as the price rising higher and higher etc.

Compared to US, Japan is a small country, however, its economy is very vital and thriving. We can ask the same question: Outsourcing: A boom or bust for business of Japan? A boom, of course. Some may say that US is not Japan, true, US is much larger, and more resources in US. Nevertheless, it doesn't mean the US should ban outsourcing, for Japan is small, and it benefits from outsourcing, while US is large. Actually, outsourcing is an activity of business, so long as there is a good economic system, there is outsourcing. How strange it will be if there is no outsourcing in US business? The more strict rules on outsourcing, the more problems will occur on the products which need importing from the other countries. So, we have to think of the problems in the way to solve them. If we compare the problems to an over-flooding river, it is better to dig channels to lead the water out, instead of blocking the main stream.

The above mentioned points show that outsourcing is quite necessary for US. Then, a boom or bust? Since it cannot be separated with a healthy business system, it is reasonable to say it is a boom instead of bust for American business. Just, as other business activities, such as manufacturing, there must be rules, and good management.

Don't blame outsourcing even if there is something with American business, for it just like a man,who has troubles to walk, blames his boots.

Very brief conclusion: A boom!
