I NO LONGER SIT ALONE
We just had a brief moment in time,
I sit alone thinking of you,
The day was just perfect, you captured my heart,
but I sit alone, we had to part.
I think of how you made me feel,
I sit alone thinking of you,
each day is so perfect, now you are with me forever,
but I still sit alone, and you have my heart.
In my memory this day will remain,
I sit alone thinking of you,
I hear your laughter, I see your smile, I feel your gentle touch,
So why do I sit alone thinking of you.
I will stop my crying and wipe away my tears,
I sat alone for many, many years,
now you have my heart, can I have yours,
I no longer sit alone, our hearts are now one.
