Classic cars: What's your favorite and why?

This is a question that for a car nut like me has no solid and specific answer. There are so many neat old cars that I would like to own but I will try to narrow it down to my two or three most desired.

If money was no object at all and I had the place to keep it and the time to take care of like a classic of its stature should be taken care of, I would love to have a late 1920s Dusenberg Dual Cowl Phaeton. They are very rare and if you can even find one for sale they will probably be in the high six figure to the low seven figure price range. It is very rare to see one that is nice for under half a million dollars. One of the nicest collection of early Dusenberg's I have ever seen along with some nice old Rolls Royce's is at the auto museum at the Imperial Palace casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. They have a lot of neat cars including quite a collection of the various presidential limos but just that one big room full of Dusenberg's and Rolls Royce's is worth the price of admission and as I remember it was pretty reasonable. The dual side mount spare tires and the big chrome exhaust pipes that come out of the engine compartment are just awesome looking.

There are a lot of the old Packards, Buicks, Chryslers, and Cadillacs that are really neat and would be neat to have. All these old cars would be so neat to drive in a Shriners parade. That is a lot of the fun of owning a classic car is the talking to the people wherever you happen to have the car. I am a people person anyway so I really enjoy telling people about the car and picking their brain about their favorite cars or maybe their classic car.

I would love to have a 1967 or 1968 Shelby Cobra Gt-500 KR Mustang with the 429 engine. they were quite rare also and are pretty hard to find. I saw one on ebay a month or two ago and they were asking $750,000 for it. as nice as it was, and as much as I would love to own one, even if I had the money, I would have a heck of a time paying three quarters of a million dollars for a Ford.

I think the car I would most like to have is a 1967-1970 Mopar with the 426 Hemi in it. while i would be happy with any of them, what I really want is a 1967 Plymouth GTX Convertible with the Hemi and the Four-Speed Manual transmission. I would like it in the metallic blue with the white bucket seat interior. They go for anywhere from $150,000 to $500,000 for a nice one. I had a gold 1967 two door hardtop with the 440 in it and oh how I wish I still had that but...I really want a Hemi Convertible.

One more that I would like to have is not a car but a pickup. I would love to have a 1972 short box four wheel drive Chevy Cheyenne. I guess it would not really be a classic in that it wouldn't be a stock color or have stock engine but they are such a neat looking pickup.

I could go on for several pages about classic cars that I have had and wish I still had and cars I would love to have but this gives you and idea of a few of my very top favorites.
